    Hi im trying to copy dvd to vhs, i've disabled macrovision on dvd player and hooked up to video with a scart lead but when i try recording im getting absolutely nothing where am i going wrong? (UK)

    Have you made sure that the vcr is set to aux input?
    Have you the right scart lead, some vcr's only accept composite signals, and make sure that the dvd is outputting composite or vice versa....

    It should work, honest....
