My problem looks like this:
* I add MPEGs to DVD Lab PRO and they get demuxed,
* I add the strams to the movie
* I compile the DVd Folders
* I burn
* I see that the audio is out of sync.
Then I must set the audio delay manually and in order to check it I must burn the disc again and again. Is there any way to determine what value should the audio delay have? Or maybe there is a way to check it befor the compilation process? Can you help?

First of all, you don't need to burn the DVD to find out if audio is in sync. Any DVD player s/w can playback the authored files directly.
Is the audio in sync with video in the original MPEG files you import to DVDLab? (I suppose yes, but just checking)
Did you encode the MPEG files yourself? If so, we will need to find out what went wrong during encoding. If not, then you probably can get into all sorts of problems with MPEG files that were encoded under unknown conditions.
One common reason for loss of sync is the timecodes that are embedded into the video files during encoding. If the video stream has a start timecode of 2 hours you may get no audio at all.
One quick way round the problem is to tell DVDLab NOT to demux the MPEG files in the first place. This will save you the demux delay as well as the re-mux phase during authoring.
Another way to correct the problem, is to correct the time stamps in the demuxed video file. Get ReStream from the tools section and open the demuxed video file. Check the start time stamp. If it is not zero, then this value is probably the initial time slip between audio and video. If so, set the start time to 0:00:00.00 and check the box "Reset time stamps and fix broken GOPs". Write the file to a new .m2v file and replace the original with this.The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
In the original MPEG the audio is in perfect sync.
I encoded the MPEGS from an AVI with TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator (ver. 2.1.3.8).
The problem is that I HAVE TO demux the files because I need to add a subtitle stream.
I know I can check the files without burning but the compilation process is long enough to piss me off everytime I have to correct the delay manually.
The start time in the demuxed file stamp is zero. That means I need to set the delay manually anyway?
