Many of you suggested using Easy VCD so I downloaded it and am trying it. I keep getting the message stating to play a few seconds in my DVD player and retry (I assume to unlock the DVD). However, this does not seem to work. Can anyone walk me through exactly what you do...what sequence...etc?

I couldn't find a tool named "Easy VCD". I think you mean VCDEasy so I'm moving this to that forum

    Edit:
Sorry 123fish. I thought it was a typo until I saw your other post in Newbies forum. Moving it back

    good work cap

Do you have any DVD-playing software (powerDVD, WinDVD etc) on your computer ?

Can you take a screenshot of the exact error you get ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

Thanks Jimm. I'm so glad I can always count on these helpful and enlightening posts of yours

Apparently whoever named the software thinks that internet slop-English is just the height of coolness, and named it "EAZY VCD". Those clever, wacky code jockeys are a hard-partying bunch, eh? :P

Silly me, I assumed the name of the software was correctly spelled, and when I did a search in tools I couldn't find it.

The only logical other choice was that "Easy" and "VCD" got transposed because of fast posting, as we've all seen. And I moved it to that forum

I'm glad to see I'm making a difference

I'm pretty sure the creator is a bloke by the name of Rob Ferguson and he lives in Perth, Oztralia.

It rates up there with people calling IFOedit InfoEdit (that REALLY gets my goat) or that new software that everyone loves called ShrinkDVD
    If in doubt, Google it.
