Firstly, thank you very much to the people who replied to my 1st topic the other week.
The problem I have is that I capture my digital camcorder footage & edit it with Pinnacle Studio 7 & create an AVI file. I then open up NeroVision Express & add the file to make a DVD, add a background, put chapters in then leave it to transcode (whatever that means!!!). The final DVD plays O.K. on my PC but on my standalone I just get the background & chapters & it won't proceed to play any further.
A conversion problem?
Any clues for a newbie?
Thank you.

Probably the player, have you tried it on any others? Some standalone players don't like burned discs. Generally older or cheap ones. Some will work with +R's and not -R's and vice versa. Look your player up on the DVD Players link to the left.

And to further complicate matters, the brand of blank used can make a difference; my Sony stand-alone doesn't like Memorex +R.
