I have 2 avi files that i am trying to join together to make a DVD with,
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
this is the process i have used for a few months now with great results:
extract video with Vdub
Join video with Vdub (append)
strip audio with goldwave from both files (using edit marker set, paste at end - method) save as wav
convert audio to ac3 with fmpeggui
convert video (no sound) to m2v with tmpgenc plus 2.5
author in tmpgenc dvd author and burn to disc
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
the problem i have is i have come accross 2 video files that when i have author'd my project i preview the dvd in powerdvd, and the first half is fine, but the second half of the video (where it's been joined in vdub and goldwave) starts to jump oout of sync with the audio......so i watch half the movie, then around halfway through, the audio seems to drop back from the video a little about 1/4 of a second out of sync, but noticable, how can i repair this? or could it be because i am previewing it in cyberlink? will it work itself right once burned to disc?
