She's funny with PCs - she uses hers all the time - damn near wore it out already, yet she wants to learn it all by herself without help. When she gets the BSOD or something, then she wants help. Otherwise it's "Leave me TF alone"

If Cap's wife or any other female comes into OT and starts posting all over the place....

What name do we give them? I am assuming that a female might find the term "post whore" offensive (or offencive...for flan)....now while we men know that typically being a "whore" is a good thing, and don't lie....at 3:00am when the crowd is winding down, you MFers know exactly what I'm talking about .....most women to not care much for that reference.

I've tried using the term "post-monger" but it ....just isn't right. Post whore captures the essence of what we do which is, after all, typing anything for the post count bump.

Monger doesn't convey the same lack of morals - it suggests a love for posts but doesn't define the complete lack of self-respect needed to be a true PW.

Besides post whore abbreviated is PW. Post monger abbreviated is PM. Too confusing.

She married me. That precludes not having one

She can "throw down" with the best of 'em in a trash-talking contest, and has no problem using the "F" word when it's needed, but she keeps it pretty clean at home and generally doesn't like that language used in the "family setting". She also doesn't get as gross as I do in some jokes. Here are a couple she just didn't like because of the imagery:

Don't think I haven't thought of her becoming fond of northcat and "suggesting" (with a forceful tone) that I adopt some of his ....ummm ....techniques. It could be the end of Dolly .....

But she wanted to join and it's my own damn fault that she did, as it was me who let the forum name slip within earshot of her. Short of something unethical and abusive of my powers, I should let her post all she wants.
