TMPGEnc supports almost every format AVI, DivX, DV, ASF, MOV, SMR, WMV, MPEG. It is also possible to encode a MPEG-1 file (usually low resolution) to SVCD MPEG-2, but what is it good for?

I have not been able to burn a scvd with an *.mp2 file and thought I would have to stick with mpeg-1 files at a higher bit rate such as 3mb/s instead of 1.05.
Unless you can tell me how to take a *mp2 file and encode into a svcd..then I would owe ya big time
