Tell my card that. I have the ATI 9200 with 256 memory and
it runs Doom 3 a treat. Pretty nice for a cheap card.
You must have a Mad Dog or other low end brand.

You're lucky, Doom 3 refuses to run correctly with my ATI Radeon 9800 XT.

  8. IAIHMB,

there are reports of doom 3 running badly on certain
mainboards with 9800 video cards. Have you tried
the latest drivers from ATI's website; the beta ones?

    Reports include lock-ups, snow etc.

I have the Catalyst 4.9 Beta drivers installed, but that didn't get rid of the white artifacts. When I first installed the card and noticed the problem, I Googled it and noticed that alot of people where having the same problem, I guess Powercolor wasn't the way to go.

  10. I have the Powercolor. The prob will be mainboard related and
there should be fixes posted soon.

i have a 9200 at home on one machine and i get some artifacts with the newest posted drivers (875 chipset) .. i didn't get these before .. otherwise the card is great with DVI and analogue output ... it runs kinda hot, so i put a cooler on it ..

seems like a really good stable cheap video card
