Hey there! I'm trying to figure out what camcorder gives the best picture (and all-around) quality. This is for an ameteur attempt at a somewhat professional movie. I can't seem to get a straight answer as to what gives best quality. So I figured I'd ask you guys. Why do the professionals use the monster cams that they do? (I'm missing something?) Well, any help would be appreciated, and I am in the newbie forum, so go easy on me, lol! Thanks!

They use Beta, S-VHS or DVC or others.
They're not user consumer stuff like VHS and DV.
For DV, go for a multi-CCD.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

A multi CCD means, I guess, a good 3 CCD cam. Results are desperately better if compared to single CCD cams.
