    I encoded a dv into wmv file 2mbps and the file is 1.3 GB, can i split the file into 2 wmvs without having to encode again so it will fit on 2 cds?

    Yes - 'ASFTOOLS' has a cut option and supports WMV without re-encoding.
    (Available in the tools section on this site)
