Hello!
The Big Lebowsky DVD menu had something that I would like to know how to do. In the chapters menu - There was pictures from the movie in 50% opasity and when u moved the mouse over them they'd light up to 100% opasity.
Now - The only way I know how to do it is with switched menus! But I think this is not the case!
The menu worked great! It was very fluent! Not like switched menus!
Am I worng? Is there a way to do that without switched menus?
THANKS!!![]()

Maybe it's just two images? Like there's an image for highlighting things, maybe it's just the same image but opaque?

I do this regularly. It depends on the tool you are using. In dvd maestro, your subpicture will have a single-color (I use blue) square in in the place of each motion object on your menu. Then you can color map blue to 50% white in subpicture and 0% white when selected or activated. Very smooth and no switched menus.
I'm not sure how easy it would be to do with other tools, though I think you can do it in DVD Lab pretty easily.
Good luck,
e
