The fastest software for converting vob to mpg

Other than the popular TMPGEnc, which software can convert .vob to mpg?

I believe DVDDecrypter can rip VOBS to M2V and Audio, from a disc, that is... I havent tried it using VOB files already on the Hard drive (if that's what we're talking about)...

Why would you want to convert VOB files to Mpeg?, they are already Mpeg2 files, unless you want to resize or something, or convert to Mpeg1 (VCD).

No, it is for editing purpose.
I thought it must be convert to mpg in order to edit the movie. i.e vob to mpg. Are there any software can directly edit the vob file?

DVD2AVI might be your best bet. You can output the chunks you want as a .D2V file, which should be accepted by AVISynth, TMPGENC and VFAPI...
