    is there anything i can download to allow me to watch mpeg2 files on a TV screen through an s-video cable?

    i can view things like AVI and mpeg1, but for some reason mpeg2 comes up blank.

    Use S-video as second monitor in dual monitor mode. Make sure overlay is set per your video card manual.

    mpeg2 is best viewed/played with a software DVD player like PowerDVd or WinDVD.
