    I was under the impression that Double Layer referred to 8.5G recordable DVD+R DL discs and that Dual Layer referred to pressed DVD-9s and DVD18s as well. Not sure if the forum (DVD-R) will call their 2 layer format Dual or Double (+ camp may have made some legal claim to the 'Double Layer' name).
