  1. i dl a movie which had two parts. one of them was 146mb and the other 153mb both were in avi format. i used tmpgenc to convert the 153mb to a valid vcd format mpg 352*240,29.97fps,CBR 1150kbs, layer 2 44100Hz, 224Kbps. the ending result was a 595mb mpg file.. problem with this size is that now i cant put part one and two of the movie in one cd if i convert the other why is it so big. how can i get it to be smaller it took 5hr to convert part one alone...it would be stupid to have part one on cd 1 and two on cd 2 and a waste of cdrw

    If your player support XVCD and you can live with bloody picture quality, reencode and lower the bitrate.
