  1. guys i backed up a dvd of mine in the ususal manner , decrypter , dvd2one and copy to , usually no probs , but on this occasion a particular dvd wont play on my dvd players

it plays fine on the pc and looking at the file structure with decrypter , that looks fine , it was definately finalised by copy to

is there a tool anywhere that checks for proper file structure and reports errors , maybe i`m missing something here

yeah i could just re-do it but i want to get to the bottom of this incase it happens again

anyone got any thoughts as to what to do ?

    Hello,

What type of disc was it? +r or -r?? Also, low quality media can be a problem. Make sure the player you are using supports the type of media - or +.

-Try different brands too, some are better than others-
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  3. cheers m8

but i just got it , its missing the menu vob file , i think that was down to me messing with main movie and main movie > ifo settings bit under edit in dvd decrypter

if i knew which i selected wrong i wouldnt do it again but because i`m brain dead sometimes , i`m think i`l leave it as it should have been

    cheers anyway

i could extract the mpeg from the iso and go through the whole process and recreate a menu but i think its a lot less taxing if i just re-do it properly

problem solved , thanks for your reply
