hey guys,
got a question for you, premiere gurus,
I have a clip of an girl holding a photograph, (and in this anime series, her looking at this photograph sparks a memory) and I want to use a filter that will let me do a zoom effect to make it look like one is going into the photograph, and have the photograph fadeout while zooming in and have the next clip start (the memory).
is this possible?
if so, what filter do I use?
thanks for any help,
sincerely,
schunn99,
preimere newbie.

You can put the clip of "the girl with the picture" on track 2. Put the next clip on track 1. You can set it up so that the end of the top clip overlaps the start of the bottom clip by about 3 sec or so.
Select the top clip and go into the effects pallet. Select Scale and set it to zoom into the photograph about 4 sec before the end.
Next: Select Opacity set keframe 1 sec before end @ 100%, then end keframe @ 0%.
That should give the effect you want.Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........ -
or you could put a cross-dissolve transition in the transitions track in the spot where the clips overlap. instead of fading out.
