  1. Hi there, I am very new to this and have not been able to track down the Info I need, can you help? Basically I want to know how I can put MPEG video to a DVD (preferably using Nero 6) so it will play in a stand alone DVD player and not just my PC's DVD player. Nero mentions something about Video TS and Audio TS, not sure how, why? If someone can point me in the right direction (lamens terms) I would appreciate it.

  7. Hey guys thanks for the help, I have used TMPGEnc DVD author, and as you say, pretty easy to use, however I still can't get the DVD I burn to work in any of my standalone DVD players. I am using TMPEnc to burn the Disc, Any Ideas as to what I am doing wrong? It works ok in my PC's DVD player.....

  9. So you would recommend a different brand of DVD R? Would it make any difference that I am useing a DVD =R only DVD burner on my PC? My DVD standalone is multi format though, wouldn't have thought this would have been a problem.

  10. Did you mean DVD+R? Some older DVD players won't play those (or -RW or +RW, either). DVD-R is the most backwards compatible format.

Multi format implies that it plays PAL and NTSC formats. That has nothing to do with the type of disk you're using.

Does your player play DVD+R, DVD-R or just DVD-ROM/DVD-Video?
