  1. as you can see, the duration is almost 5 hours, but i cant seem to seperate the Theatrical and the extreme cut apart. (i want to keep the theatrical version, which is Title 2). so i want to delete Title 1.

is there any way i could do this?

i tried InstantCopy, but when i de-select Title 1, it also unchecks Title 2, it's like they both have to be included.[/img]

  3. but that leaves no menu. and i want the menu with all extras, AND the theatrical cut. deleting the extreme cut will require less compression.

I think your running into "seamless branching" were two versions of a movie are contained in the same VTS and identified as PGC's within the VTS. Just de-select the streams you don't need. Set to 4478MB's and let DVD Shrink go. I had the same "problem" when I backed up the Alien Quadrilogy Set.

i think you arwe correct however i do NOT know how you expect him to delete unwanted streams in dvdshrink when they all all together and he does NOT want to re-author. i have had a couple of dvd's like this myself. simply use

    dvdremake.

    cheers

You can delete unwanted streams in DVD Shrink full backup mode. I do it all the time. I normally do full backup with menus and keep only the first audio stream and no substreams.

i will let the "POSTER" of this topic correct me if i am wrong but i think what he is trying to do is remove VIDEO NOT AUDIO !!!!

everyone knows you can remove unwanted audio streams in shrink.i do this all the time aswell. but he has two versions of the movie on the one disc and he wants to remove one copy being audio AND VIDEO. you can not remove and video stream in shrink without re-authoring or replacing it with a still image and that is still NOT removing it. however you can ver easily remove/delete it with dvdremake and that is what i have done with the exact same type of setup this dvd is.
