I finally gotten the TBC-1000 today!AFter alot of research and gathering info I finally went ahead and got one. Now for my question....the only SVHS VCR I have right now is the Sony SLV-R1000 model and have had it for several years, and still runs strong. Even though it doesnt have any DNR or TBC features on it, I would figure it would be strong in older VHS captures right, when coupled with the TBC-1000?
I also have an older Sony VHS VCR as well that hasnt been used much either, and its still a winner, though I am not sure if I want to use it for the captures. I do remember paying $400 for that unit several years agobut it still plays and records well too.
I am thinking that I may have to turn off the Auto tracking feature on the SVHS unit for best results. And I have the Panasonic AG-DV2000 deck I use for the A/D passthrough so I really wont need the Canopus ADVC-100.
VTM
