  1. I downloaded a flick, and am trying to burn it with nero 5.5. and it is giving one "shrek" of a time. I split it with virtual dub, then tried nero. Nero will hang up at about 86-90% during encoding, twice it started to burn and froze up there, it just stopped responding. Next, I took the long way, ran it through tmpgenc and tried to burn with ez cd platinum. With ez cd, I would click on "write" and 2 seconds later the tray on my burner would open and "cd created" would pop up on my screen. I have never really used ez cd for vcd's cause I have had good luck with nero. I used the tutorial on this site for ez cd and had everything configured correct. Could there be a problem with this movie that is causing this? anybody had this happen to them? Any other burning programs to suggest? I really want to get this movie on cd, but I already have enough coasters.

  2. Why oh why are you using Nero for encoding ? it's a great tool for burning, but NOT in any way for encoding!, don't ever try to do shortcuts, follow the guides here at creating and burning
would save you loads of coasters.

  3. What would you suggest for encoding, Tmpgenc? I used nero because it always worked for me just fine. I used tmpgenc yesterday and burned with nero and it worked, but the audio was about 10 seconds ahead of the video. Any idea how to correct that?

  4. Nero's worse encoding quality can only be beaten by LSX Encoder
ues TMPGEnc, CCE, Panasonic, XingMPEG, just not Nero, it's the best for Burning, but not encoding.

What is your source, you mentioned you had an Audio Delay, i'll presume you encoded a DivX movie, if i'm right, then you should use VirtualDub to save the Audio seperatly into a WAV file and then use that as your Audio Input.
