I am using Multiavchd to author 25gb worth of my avchd home videos. I then go to imgburn, to build, and then import the whole AVCHD folder (the one I just used multiavchd for) into imgburn. Then with the file system set to UDF 2.50, and output set for device (my G drive containing my bluray disc), I start imgburn. Now, my files are a little too big (25.2GB), so imgburn asks me if I want to truncate (just burn the files to the end of the disc space); which I say yes and then start it.
I got some type of error message (sorry but I don't remember what it said exactly and I don't want to create another expensive bluray coaster) and the next thing I know is that the bluray disc is full and I can't use it anymore.
What am I doing wrong?
Is there another burning software out there that I can use that is better than imgburn?
Should I change the output to image file instead of devise? I will try this. But then I will end up with an AVCHD.iso file. What can I do with this if my end goal is a bluray disc?

25.2 GB is 2 GB too big for a 25 GB BD-R (max size ~23.2 GB). never truncate. instead use a program like BD Rebuilder to "shrink" it to the proper size and then burn to BD-R with imgburn.

Just a user failure.
Imgburn always tells you the true amount of space you can use on a disc, just look at the media info!!*** Now that you have read me, do some other things. *** -
please ask the program author to add a new feature where it thinks for you.
