    What program (preferably freeware) do I use to convert a 3ivx movie to a DVD? I tried TMPGEnc and 3ivx is not supported. I don't want to convert it first to divx and then to DVD, as that will compromise video quality. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!

    If you have the 3ivx codec installed, TMPGEnc should work, but if not, try loading the AVI in VirtualDub and frame serve to TMPGEnc. In my experience, VirtualDub often opens files that TMPGEnc refuses to even take a look at.
