  1. Hi !

I'd like to extract the PCM track from one DVD (concert) and convert it to WAV. Is it possible, without having to extract the video data ? Some kind of PCM2WAV program, I guess ...

  2. Thanks, looks like a nice software. I tried 'streams.exe' on one VOB file (not encrypted), and it said 6 AC-3 streams and 2 LPCM streams. But when I tried to save to WAV format on the hard disk, I get (in german language) a 'File Access Denied' message ! I have copied the VOB file (VTS_01_5.VOB)on the hard disk (and the IFO file), but I still get the warning. Is there a problem anywhere ?

Nevermind. I have only one DVD with a LPCM stream and also couldn't get it to work.
Just use smartripper to extract the LPCM track. Go to the stream processing tab, check the "enable stream processing" box, check the LPCM stream only and select "demux to extra file". You will end with a .wav file.

You may want to cut the .wav, so have a look at this topic, get coolEdit 2000 or search the web for a freeware tool.
