I accidentally extracted tracks from a larger wav file to PCM format instead of WAV using CDMage. I have since deleted the original large wav file so I can't redo it choosing wav format. Does anyone know how to convert the PCM files to Wavs?? I have tried some conversion progs such as DVDLab Pro but the resulting wav file is just noise. Any help appreciated.![]()

That DVDLab tool should work.
Where did the ORIGINAL WAV come from--CD? DVD? Internet?
If CD, the WAV should have been Stereo, 16bit, 44100Hz.
If DVD, the WAV should have been Stereo, 16bit, 48000Hz (although there are other options here).
If Internet/elsewhere, it could be one of a bunch of different types...
When converting in DVDLab, try doing it once as suggested, and then once using the "Swap High & Low Bytes" checked. This is often the cause of what people refer to as "noise" in the file.
