  1. As you probably all know, tmpg dvd author doesn`t allow you to add a seperate audio track to accompany your motion menu .mpg .... it has to all be together in the .mpg before you import it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best/easiest way to whack together a completed (without audio) motion menu .mpg with an mp3 or wav or whatever, to create a musical motion menu video.

I`ve been trying to do it in premiere, but it seems that tmpg dvd author doesn`t like the .mpg`s I produced (although media player didn`t mind it).

    Cheers

You could reencode that with TMPGEnc so it'll accept it.

  3. What works for me when making menus in Premiere is to export using the MJPEG codec, then re-encode in TMPGEnc.

I remember reading a tutorial on how to frame serve from Premiere to TMPGEnc, but I can't find the link right now...

  5. Well I`ve tried to re-encode it with TMPG, but it doesn`t like what Premiere chucked out (even though it plays fine with Windows Media Player), and I`ve tried exporting a number of clips with different settings from Premiere but still no joy with T.....
