  1. First i have an mpeg file that hase some breaks in it and i want to fix them so i can author a dvd with Tmpgenc now what is the best program for fixing mpeg files, i tried vdub but it won't read the file because the error is so close to the start. Now i tried just cutting the file in Tmpgenc but at one point i lose the whole audio for the end of the show.

Also is there another dvd author program out there that might be as good as tmpgenc dvd author that will skip the errors.

thanks to all for any help

...and what model of DVD player will play a DVD with a broken mpg? Seriously, if the material is not very dear to you, throw it in the trash can.
Otherwise, Womble mpeg VCR is considered good at cutting out parts of a mpeg.
