    Hi.

    Some questions on TDA3:

    1. If I want to merge 2 DVDs into one, can I merge each full DVD's contents including menus/submenus etc too? Or is it movie only?

    2. If I want to make DVD compilation with MPEG/AVI files as input, can I import the DVDs chapter points (e.g. from PGCDEMUX)?

    3. If I want to make DVD compilation with MPEG/AVI files as input, can it accept .SUP subtitle files (e.g. from PGCDEMUX)?

    1. You can't use menus or DTS tracks from DVDs.
If you want to keep menus use DVDRemake to merge DVDs.
2.Chapter points are imported from DVDs directly (the wizard will suggest it).
3.Up to 2 subtitle streams are imported directly from DVDs.

    Hi.

I would like to know more about Q2 & Q3's answers.

    2. The input I had in mind here is normal MPEG or AVI/DivX & not VIDEO_TS folders. So can I use a celltimes.txt to set the chapter points or do I have to do them manually in TDA3?

    3. Again, the input I had in mind here is normal MPEG or AVI/DivX & not VIDEO_TS folders. I have a rough idea how to make DIVX files from DVDs (I use IMTOO DVD Ripper 4) but the only way I know how to extract subtitles is with PGDDEMUX which are .SUP files. Can I use .SUP files in TDA3? If not, how else can I import subtitles?

    Q2A:
Yes you can use celltimes text file from PGCDemux if you change its extension 'txt' to 'keyframes' (not sure of the last letter 's' but you'll see the correct format name at importing, that's from menu in the same page as timeline).

Q3: not sure of external subtitle formats supported (haven't used this feature yet )

Q3 - I'm pretty sure you can open your SUP file in subtitle workshop then save it as a subrip (SRT) then import it into TDA3 using the import feature.
