I have a philips dvp-642 and it does play everything and sells for around $65. It still has some issues with some stuff in Divx but what doesn't. A very good value for the money in my opinion and it also has the benefit of a large number of connection options.

Damn i didn't know the major brands make divx players. I was told that they don't make them because they'll be condoning piracy in a way and it make sense. So i had to buy a cheap brand that does that lot for $250. Maybe that particular brand of Philips isn't available in Australia. Like always, we get the good sh1t last.
