Which software would you to use to best create super looking motion menu's?
Adobe After Effects, or Adobe Encore?

No contest, absolutely the answer is After Effects. Encore is a DVD authoring program that provides limited menus. If you're going to do anything really cool, you have to do it in PhotoShop or better yet After Effects and bring it into Encore.

While I agree with the previous post, I think it should be pointed out that Encore is a very GOOD authoring program (although it won't hold your hand and isn't automatic); you just need the right tools to create great content for your menus outside of Encore, and then Encore puts it all together. But, no, it won't really facilitate creation of good menus- just "organization."
