Do I have to use the .d2v file when encoding?
If i use my video file is it better?
I have noticed with TMPGEnc that when I use this file my audio is always out sync towards the end of the movie.
Is this because of my .d2v file? ( I could be wrong) my original files before encoding are fine totaly in sync, but the encoded file is always out of sync the last 3/4 of the film.
I have used TMPGEnc's advanced tab and used the audio gap feature. but that only works if the file is out of sync from beginning to end. for me it's only the last 3/4 of the movie.
I'm sure someone has encountered this problem before. Does anyone know the solution![]()

I was Beweeting my mp2 audio down to 23.976 mp2 and then muxing with my encoded video file that I did with TMPGEnc. they were out of sync. You are saying I should use DVD2AVI for both.
Use DVD2AVI to produce my wav file as well as my d2v file? Then mux them together?
What should I use to encode my audio wav file down to 23.976? It has to be encoded like my video. If I use BeSweet I feel I will get the same results.
Please let me know -
I prefer to demux the vob file and load the m2v into TMPEG. I use DVD2AVI only to decode the ac3 to wav so I can load the wav into TMPEG.
I am going from mpeg to to DVD. My final result is a vob file which I burn to DVD. this file is out of sync as is my final encoded mpeg before authorizing.
Does anyone know if TMPGEnc encodes audio from 25fps to 23.976
I was always told to I had to use other sources (BeSweet). If TMPGEnc encodes audio, maybe this will solve my sync problem -
Regarding my previous reply,
The quote should be on the first paragraph not the second.
Thanks
