I've been using Virtualdub for a while and switched to VDUB-MPEG2 not VDUBMOD for the svcd-mpeg2 playback-editing capability.
I loaded an svcd backup of Shrek to Vdub-mpeg2 off a cdr encoded with TMPGENC, 29.97fps 44100 mp2 128kbs and during the playback the sound was choppy but video was ok. I downloaded an mpeg2 video, 29.97fps 48000 mp2 and loaded that as well and it does the same.
To test it I reinstalled Elecard MPEG2 and ran the same videos thru Media Player and they are perfect.
Any reason why the audio is playing like this? It makes it hard to see if files are in sync if it is skipping/chopy.
