Just lately I have been getting one or two spots on the purple dye of my ritek go4.
I have burnt hundreds of dvd's and not seen this before. I haven't had time yet to see whether it affects the playback or not. Any Ideas would be helpful, I was thinking maybe my burner is on the way out although it is only 6 months old!!

It is hard to determine the problem without seeing. I had some dye flaws on some GO4s a few months ago and it was a factory defect. They did play but I returned the batch. These flaws were visible before burning.
