    Can someone enlighten me about any differences between these 2 recorders, aside from the fact that the DR-2 replaces the DR-1?

    I've heard that they may have fixed the black level bug with the DR-2...

    Thanks - I had heard rumors of a black level bug with Toshiba similar to the earlier Panasonics (I have a DMR-E30) but have not been able to dig up any evidence about this or whether this is not an issue with the DR-2...
