  1. Has anyone with the new version of TDA (1.5.26.73) used the DVD writing tool? For those who have, any problems thus far?

I haven't encountered any problems while burning; every disk has been basically flawless, so far. HOWEVER, when the disk is ejected after burning I get a dialog box that just says "writing". Weird because it's DONE WRITING when that box appears and then the program hangs when I click "OK". Possible bug?

I've never gotten good results from the tool. Some burns are good, others just make coasters. I save to a folder, then burn in Nero.

I've had coasters from it, so I tend to not use it.

  4. I've been using it because it's convenient and because I haven't had ANY bad burns.

I use Maxell DVD-R (MXLRG02/TYG021) media almost exclusively in my Pioneer A07. Checked each and every one of the last 50 plus disks and all have been perfect.

This appears to be a glitch in the s/w or my configuration (or something). The burns are still okay for me, though.
