    Hi,

This pc was scanned with different spyware scanning programs and it seems like each one of them finds different spyware. There is this one spyware software that is not able to figure out how to get rid of. I think I got it, however, when I right click in internet explorer it says web saving. How do I get rid of that? Please and thank you.

Look on google for a program called hijack this.

It is very good, but you need to be careful. You can mess things up royally if you have no clue of what you are doing.

If you want to keep your computer spyware free download the program called spywareblaster http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
And that will stop spyware before if makes it to your hard drive. Use AdAware to get rid of the spyware already on your computer. I highly recommend these programs and so do the guys on TechTV.

  4. also, some spyware remover software emptys deletes the program, but keeps the entry there. So Spybot might find something on your PC. It will delete that item, but leave the entry in the regestry and on your PC so that should you run across it again it thinks it's still on your PC. Then you run Adaware and it will find these entrys and delete them.

Hijack this will find everything...but it also finds alot of things you put there on purpose and items in your regestry that aren't spyware. the people at CEXX.org can help decifer it if you don't know how to read the regestry.

But as long as you only quarantine the spyware and don't permanently delete it with AdAware, you can always recover it if it turned out to be important and not spyware. But spywareblaster is nice because it doesn't even let the spyware get on your computer.

Yeah it's completely free. Once you activate the software there isn't anything required on the users part and you won't notice anything different when you're surfing the web but the app. is blocking all spyware that normally would be implanted into cookies or unknowingly installed onto your system.

Sweet program.... yet very, very dangerous... much nicer than using MSCONFIG to check startup apps. Thanks for the tip

    No problem

That was the only way I could get rid of WinPup32

Winpup prevented spybot from ever finishing it's scan.
