svcd to avi

hello everybody,

I wanted to convert svcd(mpeg2) files into avi either using divx or xvid codec.I followed this Guide and its working fine for a single mpeg2 file conversion.
How do I select multiple files, like I've three svcd files which belong to one movie and i wanted it to convert into single avi file which fits into 1cd.
Could somebody pls let me know how to do this.

Try DVD2AVI, and frameserve it.

DVD2AVI will let you load multiple files, and VFAPI convert will create a pseudo-AVI out of your chosen files that can be easily opened in VirtualDub / VirtualDub MPEG2.

VirtualDub MPEG2 doesn't truncate MPEG-2 files yet, i heard that its a "coming attraction".

Before doing the conversion, I've set the target file size should be 716800 kbytes and after conversion, i noticed the final fize is 1.5GB. How should i fix this problem.

I used Xvid MPEG-4 codec with TMPGEnc 3.0XPress

Any ideas??
