I experimenting with an ATi AiW 128, which seems to turn in reasonable quality on small frame sizes (352 by 576 for example).

However I can't get it to capture sound and neither can I get the Win98 sound recorder to record either.

I'm using the onboard AC97 sound card on my K7S5A M/B which uses the C-media CMI9738 chipset.

I believe the drivers are reasonably current.

    Any ideas Guys?

    1. Disable the onboard sound and get a proper sound card.

    2. If you still want to use the onboard sound, make sure you have the audio from your source going to the LINE-IN of your onboard sound and also make sure you have the Line-in checked on the sound properties recording window.
