  1. Hi,
Can someone tell me the best way to put VCDs onto a DVD without re-encoding them. I just want to store multiple VCDs on 1 DVD. Do you just rip the DAT files from the VCDs? and rip it as a Data disc?
    Thanks
    Rav.

Click on the green "all guides" over there <-<-<-, select "format conversion" then select "vcd to dvd'. Or just click here.

  3. Tmpgenc DVD Author is a nice little tool that will take your VCD MPGs, and will automatically recode the audio to 48khz for you, allowing you to import your VCDs directly to DVD...

  4. I ended up using TMPGEnc DVD Author. Made some nice menus although I kept the chapters as is. One little prob. I had was trying to put NTSC and Pal vcds together. TMPGEnc DVD Author is for dummies, so it does the work for you.

I believe if you click "add new track" you can mix video types.

Yeah I did have them on seperate tracks for each VCD source. I just ended up making another DVD. Only used 2 gig on each DVD, but it was for a trade so I didn't bother adding more stuff.
