    Hi
Im about to by my first DVD burner and Ive got a question that I havent been able to find an answer to.

If I by a NEC2510A, is that the same as a 2500A except for the DL capability?
Can I make single layer dvd with the 2510A and will they be as compatible with DVD players as the 2500A is?

    Thanks in advance

  2. Long story short...
Everything the NEC ND2500 can do the ND2510 can do. But the 2510 burns DL disc and single layer discs but more efficiently so less errors when burning. Besides it only costs ~$20 more so you can be prepare for the WORLD OF TOMORROW

  4. U should get it with software so you know it has DL software if you need it. Also Dl media is priced out of this world at the moment. But best to have it if things get better in the future.

  6. its actually the same burner with newer firmware. The firmware is available on this very site with links if you look around to get this "fixed."

Being the nice guy that I am if your in the United States, go to OfficeMax.com (I found on ableshoppers.com) and the "Mad Dog 8x 6 in 1" (Item # 20740502) is this very burner... for only $50!
