need expert help with imported VTS in DVDLab pro

Hello, I made an two imported VTS DVD with DVDLab pro. There's a VMG menu with two buttons linking to the imported VTS title sets. Each title set has it's own menu. The VMG menu links work fine, however on
the first title set the play movie button throws me back to the VMG menu instead of the movie. The second title set work fine when I hit play movie on it's root menu. Is there something I can change in IFOEdit or DVDRemake (or anything else for that matter!) to make the play movie button on the first VTS link to the movie?? I'm sorry if I explained this terribly, if anyone has any insight to what I need to do, or what I'm doing wrong it would be greatly appreicated. Thank you

You've probably imported a VTS from a commercial movie. These normally have very complicated navigation. It's quite possible that the play movie button in the menu of the first VTS links to a PGC where it branches to different parts of the DVD, depending on the value of certain registers. Sometimes even the pre command section of the main movie contains commands which conditionally may call a menu or the VMG.

The only thing you can do is track what happens from the moment you activate the play movie button. You can use IfoEdit for the PGC commands and VobEdit for the button commands. If you have DVDRemake you can use it for both.

There's also one tool called DVD Tray Player which records the navigation and the values of the registers while you play the DVD (and you can save the log to analyse it off-line too). This may give you an idea.
