  1. i am capturing using a Leadtek WinFast vc100. the card itself is great, but i am not so great. The trouble is the file size i capture is 223mb per minute. This seems a little too big, considering i have a 40gb hard disk. The quality it captures is fine (AVI) i am just worried about the uncompressed size.

I am using Ulead 6 and , as Premiere 6 wont recognise my card.

So please could somebody tell me if that file size is normal for a minute of AVI film and if it isn't how can i reduce it?

    Thanks

  2. A quick check at Leadteks web site will show the formats supported for captures.
The file size of 223MBYTES is not unreasonablem for AVI.
    Try captures in MPEG2 format.

  4. You should look at HD sizes of greater the 100 Gig.
