  1. I own about 20 Kid DVD's ie Dora, Barney, etc. I just bought a car with the DVD player in it. Anyway, these DVD's have about a 1/2hr movie on it and then I have to put in a new one. On a long trip this stinks.

Is there any way to merge about 4 DVD's to make 1 so I can save the originals. Any help would be great.

  2. simplest way would probably be to rip to pc with dvd dcrypter and use tmpgenc dvd author to compile them together and create your own menus for it. this method works really well for me in creating compilations of all different sorts. also, if you want to trim down or remove any parts of a video when you rip to your pc check the options in dvd decrypter and under file splitting choose none. then use womble mpeg-vcr to cut out what you want and save as mpeg.

  3. Also recommend that you set the playback method to "loop" mode, that way the DVD will play forever. Really handy for younger kids whom will watch it endlessly!

you could use the reauthor feature in DVDShrink and copy across the titles you want and cropping credits etc if you wanted

to reauthor you could use DVDLAB and drop each new VTS VOB into it and create a main menu that points to each movie

I was going to suggest a way to keep original menu's but kids probably wont be bothered about original menu's
