  1. I usually convert my .mkv, and .ogm files to mpeg2, and burn it to a dvd-r. Using this method I can fit 6, 20-25 minute episodes with menu's on a dvd-r. I have recently been looking into divx, and I was just wondering if I would be able to fit more episodes on to a dvd, with roughly the same quality.

  2. well if your thinking of building a dvd with DivX encoded files then its impossible...to build a standard DVD..its must be mpeg2 format..but if u are thinking aof making a data DVD wif DivX then DivX will fit more episodes in a single dvd

  3. You could always get a dvd player that plays divx, but I can put about 13 + 20-25 episodes on a dvd as a dvd. To do this u will need to make the avi vcds, then I just run them through TMPGEnec DVD Author. This kinda explains it vcd to dvd http://www.digitalfaq.com/convert/vcdtodvd/vcdtodvd.htm

mkv to divx is real easy using graphedit but I only do single audio with no subs.

Personnally, I just do a data disc and watch on computer. You can save more money by doing a data disc than the way u doing it.
