  2. There are a lot of reviews of this media ID in the media list to the left...

Most people seem quite happy with that media ID.

  6. Until you pointed it out I never took any notice of the code, I mostly buy from SVP and always buy Ritek except once when I got the Bulkpaq. The printable surface was just as good as the Ritek and were "almost" full face but after a few back ups I found that they don't like to be burned right up to the edge so I kept the size to about 4300 and they were usually ok but like I say now I always go for Ritek. Maybe these disks will be the same, keep the size down and they will be fine

Just burnt a couple using Alcohol 120%, all burns where completed 100%.

Now it comes to the printing...

    Printer used... EPSON 900

The surface is a smooth printable surface.

It would seem that they cannot take Ink very well when it's set to Photo Quality and the Enhancement set to Normal, Print is very blotchy and looks like it will never dry.

I got the best results using the Default CD/DVD settings on the Epson, only thing about this is that it's like a faded print but that the way it is on any Printable's.

If any body else has better results please post your settings so that we all can try.

    .
Nice to hear things went well...
Even using Riteks i only ever use default cd/dvd and leave it on 0.
Used to be able to use photo paper setting, but it looks like they have changed the surface as the last 6 lots i have had would not take anything higher than default without taking days to dry.
Have ordered a pack of full face to try. It the durabilty i'm more worried about i dont want a repeat of my pinco problems where after 6 months the disks are useless for anything other than bird scarers.

  10. If you want decent quality full face printables, you should check out www.naked-geek.net

Don't listen to what these dickheads say, go read the reviews for yourself.

They have been printed at full photo quality on the epson r300 and the ink has been dry as soon as the disk is finished.

They were reviewed on here in the media list by a number of customers, but as usual, they got deleted from the media list.

I'm not sure I believe that. Baldrick won't delete real honest reviews. That's one of the reasons this site exists!
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

  12. Oh right, so you are saying that Naked Geek Networks media has NOT been completely removed from the media list on 4 seperate occassions now? Funny, I have screenshots archived from when they were there. I suppose I must have hand drawn them huh?

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning.

I did say honest reviews didn't I? If the matrix and longten brands are still there, then the geek brands would be too, unless Baldrick thought the reviews were not placed there by honest people using them. Too bad they are not available in the US, I'd try a 10 pack.

    WTF.....
Look i'm in the Uk and asked about a product that has just become avaiable over here...
You neither answer the question of offer any good advice.
You just trying to pump up your site...
I ask because a search of it for the media code brings back....
There is no product that matches the search criteria.
So that was a total waste of my time... Thanks a bunch for nothing...

  18. iooi, i can understand why you reacted as you did. the heavy bias of people's opinion suggests they are overwhelmingly bad.

however, i would urge you to try some. i've bought 200 NG printables and the results are impressive. the top surface is superb and prints great on a canon i865.

they burn no problems at 8x on my pioneer 107d.

if in doubt, try them yourself.

I'm not reacting to other people's opinions just the fact the thread was hijacked away from what i wanted to know by someone trying to promote their alternitive site that carried NO info that was of relervence to my question.
Wether you are all one and the same is of no interest to me, and as a mod else where i know just how easy it is to catch multiple username posters...
