There is a small beam of light coming from a window and falls on the face of a person. As the person moves his head, a small spot of light moves around his forehead and chicks. Is there an easy way to remove this? Otherwise it was a good take of the video.

Can you paint it out with AE or Final Cut?
There are no problems - only chances to excel.

You would have to try to adjust each frame by hand in AE or Photoshop. Time consuming and fraught unless you are damned good.

I know Photoshop. I don't know AE or Final Cut.

Isn't there a way to define an area in the video (where the head is) and then do color adjustment just for the particular colors of the spot, to resemble more to the rest of the skin? I mean something like the process I would do in Photoshop, but do it in Vegas.

  5. You could do it with a mask or adjusment layer, if you want to limit the area

What kind of a spot are you talking about here? How big?

Does the light glow affect other objects? if so, it's going to be very difficult to make it look "real"

If it's a tiny spot with no light transmission or bleed to other objects, using the clone stamp tool might be an option (AE has one that works similar to photoshop)

You can do this in photoshop and re-assemble the png sequence as a video (e.g. with avisynth , vdub) , AE just makes the process a bit easier

Video has very limited dynamic range. If the sunlight caused white clipping, it will be difficult to correct. The method is called "rotoscoping" and can be done frame by frame from Photoshop.

Small areas can be fixed with the clone brush as said above.
