    hi, sup, im new to da forum board, i just got a question about mainconcept encoder, is there anyone that uses this encoder to conver vcd/svcd to dvd-r, if so can u direct me to a guide that gives you step by step how to do da procedure with out any out of sync errors???

    Mainconcept cannot be used as the single tool to create a DVD (same applies to any MPEG encoder).

    It can produce the video and audio streams to use in the DVD creation, but not do the authoring step. Search and read around about authoring and try a couple of authoring tools. Tmpgenc DVD Author and DVD-LAB are good choices to start with.
    The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
