For those in the know,
Which ATI AIW card would be the best deal. Normall computing stuff not all that video demanding, and best video captures. I am not a high end gamer and I probably won't do any gaming on that system at all anyway.
I have actually been happy with my 7500 Radeon AIW, but I need to capture with another system also, plus I might get the kid one for her system. My 2 chioses at the moment are:
ATI AIW RADEON 9000 PRO Video Card, 64MB DDR, 128-bit, DVI/CATV/VIVO, 4X AGP, Model "ALL-IN-WONDER 9000 PRO" -RETAIL
$133
Or
ATI AIW RADEON 9600 Video Card, 128MB DDR, 128-bit, CATV/Video Out/Video In, 8X AGP, Model "ALL-IN-WONDER 9600" w/ REMOTE -RETAIL $171
Both at newegg.com and free shipping.
I see alot of differnce in the cards like 128ddr or 64 ddr, 8x agp or 4x,
Chipset/Core Speed: ATI RADEON 9600/325MHz
Memory/Effective Speed: 128MB DDR/400MHz
Chipset/Core Speed: ATI RADEON 9000 PRO/275MHz
Memory/Effective Speed: 64MB DDR/540MHz
But for primarily capturing and playback does any of that actually matter?
I am looking for the best capturing I can get and my system does not drop frames or any other problems with capturing now, the other system should be even better, 2500xp 333fsb compared to my current 1700xp 266fsb.
