Hey, first off I just want to say that i'm new to all this DVD burning stuff and this SVCD2DVD program is great, it's so simple and it's an excellent program.
My problem is:
I am having trouble playing the DVDs on most players when using SVCD2DVD, It works great in my own player (Durabrand, One of the cheapest out there), however, I tried to play it in my mothers, girlfriends, and 3 other friends DVD players and they all skipped (mostely toward the end), it gets to the point where you need to shut the movie off. the DVDs are Ritek and they were burned at 2x.
On the other hand, When I author a DVD using NeroVision Express they work in pretty much all DVD players including my Durabrand, Playstation 2, my mothers & girlfriends DVD player. The only downside to this approch is that it takes maybe about 5-6 hours longer.
Is there something that I am doing wrong or is it normal? Is there any thing I can do to fix this problem? I know that SVCD2DVD is only compatible with about 80% of the players out there but it seems like it only works on my cheap ass player and no one elses
thanks in advance.
