PLEASE help me with this Premiere 6 audio glitch...

After an entire day of working perfectly, Premiere 6.0 decided to glitch up while I slept.


When I playback my current project, the Audio & Video plays via that lil' Monitor in the top-right corner, right?

Well, NOW that Monitor refuses to play the Audio, and when it does decide to play it, it's all skippy n' jumpy n' horrid!

I've tried re-installing my MP3 codecs, DivX codecs, Windows Media Player, the codecs again, Panasonic MPEG Encoder, Premiere 6... nothing seems to work.

Why Premiere's now unable to playback projects I created WITH Premiere just yesterday baffles me completely.

Another odd thing is, if I double-click on the file in the list Left to the Monitor, it plays back perfectly. Only the Monitor is affected.

Please, PLEASE help.

I think ur problem is trying to playback mpeg2 in premiere.

I have always had same problem. So I simple play the file using a different app. if avi, u can use vdub. if mpeg2, u need a plugin for wm7 or use windvd/powerdvd.
